Howdy everyone. We've got a few important announcements to make about this month's batch of missions, so I'd ask for your attention, please!

There are reports coming in from the Grass Continent that a number of wildfires have broken out. While our friends at Wigglytuff's Guild have managed to slow the spread and evacuate a good number of settlements already, we've got a responsibility to head out there and lend a hand.

The Guardian Deity Tapu Fini -- or Miliani as you've come to know her -- will be helping us get our ships over to the island as much as she can. Mission briefings will be given out once we've set sail. But for now, anyone who's coming to help should start packing!

While a good number of the dungeons out on the Grass Continent are safe from the risk of the fires spreading to them, a couple others weren't so lucky.

Both Treeshroud Forest and Sky Peak seem to have been hit pretty hard, so those will be our priorities for search and rescue.

Treeshroud Forest is kind of a historical site. There's a Time Gear somewhere hidden in the depths of the dungeon so I imagine Beethoven's guild are trying their best to save the area. Meanwhile, us GCSF members should work on looking for survivors and getting them to safety. That said though, we should have enough hands on board to help fight back the flames at the same time.

On the other hand, the situation at Sky Peak is...

...it's bizarre.

With the way the dungeon is layered, it should've been harder for the fires to spread across the levels. But while the forests on the lower level have been affected, so have the areas several floors above that. Meanwhile, the middle sections seem to be in-tact.

We're not sure what happened to have spread the fires to the upper or if some kind of isolated incident caused a separate set of fires to break out.

But we can look into that later! For now, just get to one of the dungeons and start looking for ways to help fight the fire or ensure the safety of the dungeon inhabitants!

On top of all of the chaos being caused by the fires, there's someone or something out there taking advantage of the situation!

Refugees fleeing from the fires are being attacked out in the wilderness. Every incident report is the same too -- the victim becomes isolated from their group before getting blasted by some unknown force and blacking out.

Thank the gods there haven't been any reported fatalities yet...

So far, the common symptom between the victims is the lethargy. They're all waking up feeling drained. They can barely even move.

While Beethoven's people and your peers are taking care of the fires themselves, these people are in need of support. And anything we can find out about what's been attacking these defenseless people would be a step in the right direction.

We're not Bounty Hunters, but I won't stand by while there's some maniac out there making it worse for people who've just left their homes. Be careful out there, alright?

Rescuers! I haven't got much time, so listen well!

I understand that Stein has been having some of you look into the explosions that have been occurring across the continent in conjuction with the ongoing fires.

Whoever or whatever is behind these attacks has been elusive to say the least, but now something has dragged it out of hiding. The frequency of explosive incidents has increased drastically, though luckily -- and most curiously -- the number of injured parties has remained fairly low.

That is to say it's started bombing things in its path indiscriminately, and no longer targetting individuals. We've been able to surmise that it's hunting something -- someone to be exact.

No doubt your leaders have already informed you of the Cosmogs under the guild's care going missing. Since then, we've confirmed that at least one of them is here on the island. The timing of when they left Ethovalon and the perpetrator going berserk seems to line up.

In all likelihood, this being is looking for them.

I've got my hands full making sure the current fires stay under control and that no new fires are started as a result of the mess this individual's made. So, here's what I can tell you:

They've got a spherical head covered in colored dots and star-shaped. They're roughly the size of an average person -- tall for a Pokemon in their feral form. Other than that, they've been seen moving rather... erratically. You'll have to be prepared for unpredictable movements. We've taken to calling them the Fireworks for the time being.

Gather your allies, find your friend, and take down the fiend before any more harm comes to the people on this island.
