Becoming a World Famous Foundation

STORY

🍃 ♫ ♫ ♫ 🍃

As the Guild’s ship comes to stop at Lively Town’s docks, the town already seems-- well, lively!! People are busy and bustling around the streets, everyone seems cheerful, and the looming building of the Expedition Society can be seen in the distance. Like Pokemon Square and Treasure Town, this place seems just as jolly! As teams are left to attend to sightseeing and dungeon exploring, the Branch Leaders head off to speak with the Expedition Society. So far, everything’s been smooth sailing for the GCSF, and after this, they’ll have affiliated with all of the other well-known guilds across the Great Sea! 

Even the Expedition Society building was bustling. Junior members were scrambling about, checking the Pokemon Nexus in the center of the building, eating their fill in the dining hall, and preparing to go exploring! Beside the Pokemon Nexus, talking to what were assumed to be junior members was an elegant Ampharos woman. She spoke with dignity and gentleness in her voice. Once she was done with the young ones beside her, she turned to see the strangers before her. Giving a smile and a twirl of her umbrella, she moved towards them with a nod. 

“I’ve been hearing word of your arrival-- The Global Communication Setup Foundation, correct?” She placed a hand on her chest and gave them a smile. “My name is Winifred. I am the chief of the Expedition Society. Together with my communication expert and on-ground explorer, we take to the seas to help those in trouble and expand our Pokemon Nexus.” She turned to the giant holographic globe in the center. 

“Though we’ve completed the entire Nexus, we need to fill in information on dungeons. One dungeon has been eluding us for a long time, but finally found it’s whereabouts. Purity Forest has sent many Junior Explorers packing, running for the hills.” She turned towards Wynton and the others. “And that’s where you come in. You wish to affiliate with my Expedition Society, correct? We’ll gladly aid you if you can aid us beforehand. Mica! Debbie! Front and center!!” 

Rumbling and tumbling could be heard as a Stonjourner and Rotom came crashing down the stairs, landing in a heap at the base of them. Winifred turned towards them, giving a stern look, but neither Pokemon seemed phased by her. They quickly stood up, big smiles on each of their faces as they gave a salute to her. 

“Hello there! I’m Mica!” The Stonjourner struck a pose, “I’m the on-ground explorer for the Expedition Society! My job is to go into dungeons and plot a course for all of our junior members to get through safely! Pleased to meetcha!” 

“And I’m Debbie!!” The Rotom threw her hands into the air excitedly, “It’s so nice to meet you all! I’m the guild’s communications expert! It’s up to me to send signals to all of our members out in the field! We always know where everyone is at all times thanks to me!” 

 “These two will be helping us in our expedition to Purity Forest--” Winifred was immediately cut off. 

“Miss Winnie--” Debbie asked, cocking her head, “Who are these new friends? Surely they’re not coming along?” 

“They are.” She turned back, “And we will be helping each other reach the bottom of the forest. They’re the leaders for the GCSF-- and they’re our humble guests.” 

Mica and Debbie suddenly had a look of horror replaced with awe as their eyes became starstruck. Seems like they were fans! 

“We’ve heard all about your adventures!!” 

“Did you really take down all those legendaries?!” 

“You’ve seen a Time Gear with your own eyes!?” 

“Could you … could you get Tempo’s autograph for me!!!!” 

Winifred thudded the tip of the umbrella against the floor, “Settle down, both of you! Please, show them around Lively Town. But, don’t be a nuisance! If you see any Guild Members, be sure to show them around as well! We leave for the Expedition in three days!” 

Well, the Expedition Society seems to be a strange crew, but then again, so is the GCSF~

And it seems before they ally with you, you must help them get through Purity Forest! 

… Oh boy.  

🌱 EVENT MISSION 🌱

Summary | Winifred, the Chief of the Expedition Society, has heard all about the GCSF’s triumphant adventures over the past few years! She and her guild members are thoroughly impressed and want to go on an outing with the GCSF!

The renowned and willful guild leader Winifred, Brave Mica and Communications Expert Debbie can’t wait to see what the GSCF’s got! If we can prove our strength and reliability, the Expedition Society will be our ally!

The dungeon of choice is: Purity Forest!

This event will be a Player Choice-Based style Dungeon Crawl with some Bot-Rolling RNG mixed in that will last the month of September! You’ll get routes and results depending on your choices and rolls!

Climb through all ten floors to make it to the end!

All participants who play to the end of their game will receive two Potions of their choice!

*Successfully clearing the dungeon run doesn’t matter for receiving this reward! Just try your best, you’ll still get the two potions if you end up knocked out and that’s the ending you get so no need to stress!!!

☘️ TASKS ☘️

For first-time completion of each task, you’ll be awarded a bonus of 2,000p!

✦ Tasks cannot be failed and must be done in human (gijinka) form!

✦ Be sure to remember to mark if you’ve completed the task before in your description or grading will be delayed!

For completing all three tasks, members will receive 3 Joy Seeds!

✦ You can claim these in the #Inventory Channel or via Noting the group by linking proof of your 3 completed tasks!

Task #1 | Junior Expedition Society Members

The Expedition Society is in need of some help at their headquarters! They need help tallying up the food, getting in contact with members out in the field, studying the stars and keeping up with the Pokemon Nexus in the center of their HQ. Any help they would greatly appreciate! 

Task #2 | Tutoring at Serene Village’s School

Instead of the schoolchildren going on a Field Trip, your team is going to be visiting as special guests! Tell them all about your travels and what your team does as a team working for the GCSF! Tell them about your dungeon expeditions, the daring rescues you’ve made, or the bad guys you’ve arrested! 

They’ll be glad to hear it all!

Task #3 | Purity Forest Preparation 

Purity Forest is going to be a strong and dangerous dungeon to get through. For the best possible outcome, everyone better pack and prepare as best they can! Reviver Seeds, Oran Berries, Apples, Seeds-- any one of them could be useful! Use the resources available around Lively Town to gather everything you need!

While you’re exploring the Water Continent, don’t forget to check out the School Forest, Poliwrath River, Ancient Barrow, Revelation Mountain, Abyssal Badlands, and of course, Purity Forest!

Recruit some new members to your team, or just explore the scenic Water Continent!

🌸 Deadline | Members will have until the end of the day Midnight EST on September 30th (Going into October 1st) to submit pieces for this event!

Dungeons can still be visited even after this event ends but Tasks for this Event will only last until then!

The end of the month is also when we are planning on closing the Event Dungeon Crawl!

*If the event sees any delays, the Purity Forest Dungeon Crawl event may be extended to make it fair for people to finish! We will let you know if we plan on extending it well in advance!!!

🌸 Rewards | For participating in the 3 Tasks given by Winifred, you’ll be presented with 3 Joy Seeds!

For finishing a Purity Forest Expedition, you’ll receive 2 Potions of choice!

For starting and participating actively in (i.e. not just doing a quick post or two! At least making it roughly halfway) you’ll earn 1 Random Event Potion, even if you don’t 100% finish your run!
