January, Year IIAfter such an eventful month, everyone was beyond happy to return to Ethovalon for some much deserved rest. However, little did they know that Chronos was returning yet again with another holiday extravaganza. This time, he brought snow with him to their quaint island. However, there was no time to rest, even with festivities taking place!
The GCSF headed northbound-- their destination was the city of Portsmouth on Spiral Archipelago. However, nothing can go right for the GCSF, as they were caught right in the middle of a scuffle between a Dialga and Giritina. Afraid to intervene, the Branch Leaders were planning to regroup and reroute the ships, but the legendaries had no regard for the danger they were putting the people on the ships in. Wormholes and portals were created from thin air. Without much of a choice, those on the ships buckled down and prepared for what lay on the other side of those portals. Much to the shock of everyone, there were dungeons on the other side! As the legendaries disappeared over the horizon, the GCSF used this opportunity to study the wormholes-- as they always seemed to stay for about a month before reappearing somewhere nearby with a completely different dungeon inside.
February, Year IIThe GCSF began making strides with their expeditions out to sea! The Spiral Archipelago (and the city of Portsmouth), Skull Island, the Lanier Islands (and the many townships), the Desert Region (and the city of Sepsuthus), and Disadatto Island were rediscovered! Scholars were found studying ruins in the desert, brigands were found on Skull Island, and even the remains of an old, dusty town were found on the Lanier Islands. While half the GCSF explored these lands, the other half handled the mysterious wormhole dungeons. Strange items and keepsakes were found in these dungeons, and some teams held onto them. What they were used for wasn't quite apparent at the time.
During the middle of the month, Tempo the Dialga descended onto Ethovalon, threatening the residents in his own strange way. Thanks to his outbursts and claims, the GCSF learned that a Palkia named Andromeda, his friend, was taken by the Giritina named Skres. Due to the wonderful efforts of the GCSF members, Tempo didn't end up fighting anybody and even offered his support to them. Together, they would learn about Andromeda's whereabouts ...
April, Year IIChronos returns yet again with another festive surprise! This time, cherry blossoms fall on the town!
However, that's not all that is falling on the town ...
Towards the end of the month, the sky turned and in a flash of light, Skres the Giritina erupted from the sky, unleashing a devastating dragon breath onto the city of Ethovalon beneath her. Several tried to calm her down while others in the GCSF evacuated the city and it's civilians. However, despite everyone's efforts, Skres did not want to listen to them. She began fighting in the town square against everyone who had shone up to oppose her. She went on and on about Tempo and how she wanted to fight him. How he was the one who kidnapped Andromeda!
As Skres was on her last limbs, Tempo appeared to put a stop to her. As he was about to time travel, something blasted him out of the air. Everyone looked on in fear as silhouettes appeared in wormholes above them. Although their appearances remained vague, fear was instilled in everyone who witnessed them appear. As soon as the showed up, they left instantly, throwing to the ground a cane that Andromeda carried around.
Who were these strange visitors? What did they want with Andromeda? And why did they seem to have such a distaste for everyone?
The people of Ethovalon were left with more questions than answers, a destroyed town, and no idea who the strangers were. Nonetheless, Skres was agreed to stay with the GCSF and help clean up the city. Apologies were made, and now the GCSF had a Dialga and Giritina on their side.
May, Year IIParella Island, The Hissing Isle, and Autumnal Heights are rediscovered. Allurian has provided Ethovalon with the supplies needed to rebuild their town. The GCSF plans to mount a full expedition to the east to rekindle with the guilds and foundations of old.
June, Year IIStrange visitors began appearing in the town after revealing themselves back in April. Some seemed rather neutral, while others began instigating fights with the inhabitants of Ethovalon. One of the strange visitors, a Naganadel named Hera, went on and on about how their way of life was "unnatural". Her son, who had made bonds with those in Ethovalon decided to stay with them, which only enraged Hera further. Colton, another strange visitor, got involved in the fight. After some terrible choice words were thrown around, Hera's son was abandoned in Ethovalon and they announced they'd return with a vengeance ...
July, Year IIChronos returns yet again and with the help of Ethovalon, he's able to host a beach party as well as a Summer Festival! Both go off without a hitch!
August - September, Year IIJust as the strange visitors had said, they returned with a vengeance. Blocking the way forward, they created a dungeon blocking the GCSF's movement to the northeast. This road block was a terrifying dungeon that brought out the worst in people-- revealing to them their worst fears and making them conquer them before they could leave. After this encounter, many GCSF members weren't the same. and for a while, it seemed like the strange visitors were getting the upper hand in this fight ...
Or so it seemed ... As the months progressed, it seemed their power was waning slowly ...
October, Year IIThe power that created the strange dungeon had finally gotten so weak that there was no more hold on it. The strange visitors couldn't keep up, and Andromeda, who they had been manipulating to keep the dungeon up had broken free. Together with her friends, Tempo and Skres, they put an end to the Strange Visitors and ended their tyranny over the seas. With the Creation Trio back together and owing the people of Ethovalon, they decided to ally with the GCSF. If they ever needed them in dungeons, they'd come to their call.
Several strange visitors had also allied with the GCSF: Cyril, Topsy, and Myra had joined them in their escapades!
As a way to celebrate their victory, Chronos returned to Ethovalon with a wonderful Halloween celebration!
November, Year IIThe GCSF finally started their expedition northbound, after many months of attempt after attempt. Finally, they landed on the Grass Continent. Their mission? To affiliate with Wigglytuff's Guild!
