EVENT NUMBER 22, Sightseeing & Shopping Norwich - 'Do your own thing'
Norwich – Wednesday 21st May 2025 – Price £25
The coach will leave Peterborough at 9 am and with a comfort stop on the way, we anticipate arriving in Norwich City Centre around 11.30 am.
As well as being the most complete medieval city in the UK with a stunning Norman Cathedral and Castle, Norwich has a flourishing arts and cultural scene, superb independent as well as High Street shopping, quaint covered market, lively restaurants, bars and a heritage that is a delight to explore. Britain’s most easterly city has also been recognised as a UNESCO City of Literature. The city also boasts over 30 medieval churches.
Shopping in Norwich is mostly concentrated in the city centre, thanks to modern department stores and shopping malls. You’ll also find these and branches of all the major high street shops on London Street and Castle Street. Jarrolds Department Store is proud to be one of the most recognisable landmarks in this unique city, which has been home to this family run business since 1823. Today the store offers a shopping experience over 5 floors with more than 50 departments, plus 3 restaurants, seafood, wine and coffee bars plus the hugely popular Food Hall.
We are sure you will find plenty to fill the day, whatever your interests.
The coach will leave Norwich at 5.30 pm for our journey back to Peterborough.
