NEWS STOP PRESS
As of 7th April 2026, Ken Tinkler
We are sad to advise Club member and former Past President (in1985) Ken Tinkler passed away on 5th April, aged 99, he would have been 100 in September. Ken worked in Quality and after retirement in1986 he came back to become a tour guide. We will advise when funeral details available, but as Ken had moved to Birmingham to be near his daughter, the funeral may not be local.
As of 26th March 2026, Club's Name Change
At yesterday's AGM the Club's new name was proposed and passed. It is
"Past & Present Employee Service Club"
To go with the new name a new website has been prepared, all the content from this one has been copied over.

We are sad to advise the passing of one of our oldest Club members Wally Moss on 22nd March 2026, age 99. Details of his funeral service will be advised when known.

Event 2a, Eastfield Factory Tour on 23rd March has been cancelled due to lack of interest. Event 2b, the Factory Tour on 5th October will include a visit to Engineering Test and Development to make it more interesting and attractive!
As of 3rd March 2026 - The price of the Event 14 early 2027 holiday in North Wales has been established, cheaper than the estimate, and details are now available.
This holiday has been offered on this website since Christmas 2025, and by personal approach. All single rooms have already gone, but a double or twin room with single occupancy can be booked, which will attract a supplement of up to £20 per night. As of 3rd March 2026, there are currently 10 standard double/twin rooms, and 2 Signature double/twin rooms available. So that we can match the demand against the room allocation, please complete the Booking Form and pay the deposit, by 7th April 2026. Event No.10, a day out to Norwich ending with the matinee performance of the show Mean Girls at the Theatre Royal there, on Saturday 17th October, all for £83. We are having to book the tickets very soon, which is the challenge! If interested book now, pay later!
