17 of our Members took part in this Tour, and are pictured above meeting with David Goldspink (centre back row) for the welcome refreshments, and to be kitted out with their safety equipment.

The tour went well, and all were impressed by the obvious investment that Caterpillar have made in the plant. There were robotic processes everywhere, and the factory was impressively clean. A far cry from the old days, when you couldn’t see across the machining areas for the cast iron dust in the air!
