MATERIALS:
6 metal cans of the same size
A piece of cardboard where we can draw eight circles
A piece of colored paper of your choice
Rice
Beans
Adhesive tape
Scissors
Introduction:
Shaking the sound canisters stimulates the auditory sense and therefore the development of the brain to increase speech language. Different cans will make different sounds, which encourages when playing this sensory practice. This activity helps develop your child intelligence, the ability to identify and follow sounds from side to side, and develop fine and gross motor skills by holding and shaking the cans.
INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the label from the cans, wash and dry.
Draw 6 rectangles on the butcher paper to line the cans, measuring the height and length with the can and cutting it out.
Trace 12 circles of diameter of the can plus 1 inch on butcher paper and cut out.
Trace 12 circles of diameter of the can plus 1 inch on cardboard and cut out
Fill the 6 cans with the different materials each.
Cover the cans with the cardboard circles, taping them to the open part and the bottom of the cans.
Cover the cardboard circles, taping the butcher paper on top.
Line the jars completely with the rectangles of butcher paper, sticking with adhesive tape.
Line the cans with duct tape lengthwise until completely covered.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Separate the rice into two parts, one with more rice and one with less rice. Put them in two of the cans. Follow the same procedure with the beans.
Cover the cans with the rectangles that you had previously trimmed for each can. Once you have the cans completely covered, you can then use duct tape to make sure the paper will not tear.
