MATERIALS:
1/4 yard of fabric
Doll template
Scissors
Pencil
Thread
Needle
Wool needle
Filling
Yarn
Extra fine point permanent marker (black and red)
Fabric to make the clothes of the doll or doll
Introduction:
Symbolic play: playing with dolls is great for children. It helps the development of imagination, language skills, physical development in their fine motor skills (eating and dressing themselves). This type of simulated play plays an important role in the child's cognitive development and social-emotional skills.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Trace the body molds in pencil on the fabric and cut out. (2 torsos, 4 legs 4 arms)
Sew the pieces, leaving an opening on one side of each piece enough to flip and fill.
Join the arms and legs to the torso by sewing, ensuring that the hands have the finger facing up and the legs are turned to the front.
Mark the doll's face with a pencil and paint it.
Insert the yarn hair by sewing to the head.
Dress the doll (or) of your choice, (Optional per participant, trace the clothing patterns on the colored fabric, cut out and sew)

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Once the pieces are sewn, make small cuts in the curved parts to prevent the fabric from puckering.
The doll must be fully dressed and with shoes and the head must be complete with hair.
