The scariest dream I've always remembered till this day was when I was a little kid. It started off as me waking up in my dream and it was my birthday that day.
So I came out of my room and went to the living room to check if my family was there. They were not in my living room so I checked in my backyard and they were all there hanging out celebrating my birthday. After I went to check where everyone was, I went back to my room and changed into something else instead of wearing pajamas.
Right when I was about to walk into my room I noticed that there was a crack in my front door and I thought that was strange, because everyone from my family was in the backyard and the front door is always locked.
I opened the door and I saw a clown sitting on my table right outside my front door looking straight at me. I had no idea what to do, I just stood there terrified until I finally started running to my backyard and telling my family what happened. They immediately reacted and went to the front door to see if the clown was still there but he wasn't there anymore.
I woke up from my dream feeling my heart pounding fast because of how terrified I was. Ever since then, I’ve never liked clowns.
What inspired me to write this story was that not everyone knows that I am terrified of clowns, so I just thought of writing the reason why I am scared of clowns. My writing process was like me just trying to remember what happened during my dream that day and including everything I could remember from my dream.
"This piece was pretty relatable, considering I too also have a fear of clowns. This piece just made me think of that killer clown hoax back in 2016, where my fear for clowns actually sparked within me."
