I, Olegario Maldonado, think one of my best characteristics I bring to the table would be that I like pushing myself. No matter what, I push myself and others around me to do better and do their best. Another strength I bring to the table is that I will always try my best to show up to all my important things on time no matter what. I always look back at what shaped me to be like that and I always think about how my parents and everyone in my family would always make sure we were on time to everything. Whether it was a school meeting or a party, we would always make sure we made it on time.
A time I remember clearly would happen to be when my sister and I were traveling to Mexico. We were always in a rush and sometimes we got stuck in traffic. We were trying to make it on time because other things got in the way like maybe work or school. If I'm at school they will need to go get me out, so it will take more time to get to the bus station. Sometimes we are not even done packing but we still manage to get there on time and catch the bus to Mexico. As soon as we get there we need to show our tickets and stuff like that and put the bags on the bus. They are really heavy because they have clothes and other little things like that.
I wrote this essay to talk about myself and so the reader gets to know a little bit about me. The writing process is that I needed to do a lot of reflecting and thinking back on the example I gave.
