The inspiration behind this art piece is the questioning of oneself. The artwork depicts a lone samurai standing in a forest looking up to the sky. This is meant to depict a pause in his journey as he wonders if it’s too late to turn back. A crack in the unbreakable determination of a samurai. Thoughts of regret, thoughts of remorse. This is meant to show a situation everyone has been in: Alone with your thoughts wondering if you made the right decision while at the same time hoping you did.
