"An insanely good RTA, which you'll likely fall deeply in love with - just wick it properly to avoid leaks.
Newbies, this could be the tank you're seeking"
Hitherto I've been avoiding bottom airflow tanks owing to reports of increased susceptibility of leaking. However with the remake of the rebuildable sub ohm video, I decided to purchase one and investigate further.
Update Nov 2025: Destinies have become almost unnobtainable, so if you find a source then please let us know on the Discord. Recommended substitutes are the Dead Rabbit V3 RTA or Arbiter 2 RTA which will be used as demo tanks in the next video, explaining both single and dual coil operation.

In my opinion, an extremely impressive single-coil bottom airflow RTA clone. The usual rough finish on the 510 connector was soon cleaned up as was the loose residual machining swarf on various parts. But apart from this, a delightfully smooth construction.
Upon initial testing with pure PG/VG mixes, flooding/gurgling was experienced just after filling, which predicably led to leaking from the lower edge of the airflow ring. I completely remedied this by using a modified wicking technique with a slightly higher volume of cotton placed into the juice well ports (see pic below). Once sorted, this is one of the most foolproof tanks to wick and use that I've ever tested
A few issues have been reported from folks not trimming off the coil legs completely flush to the terminal posts. When assembled, there is very little clearance here, and contact with the inner chamber can cause electrical issue which prevent the mod firing properly or at all. Suggest checking yours before assembly.
Like the Kylin Mini V2. it's suitable for use with smaller quantities of juice, having a smaller capacity and it does not use the base as a lower juice pool
Simple design and construction. Bottom airflow, so no inner airflow chamber needed
Since modifying my wicking technique, I have not experienced any leaks and it's become my most regularly used RTA. I have to say, I just love it, and I confidently predict you will too
Works extremely well over an impressive range of toke strengths - very, very highly recommended - if you can find one
Pros
An truly excellent performer . Simple, user-friendly, and imo a perfect choice for anyone (including complete newbies) to smoothly experience the full range of Dimitri Levels with the minimum of gotchas
Generally high quality build quality compared to most other clone types that I've inspected
Refreshingly low juice capacity with straight glass (similar to Kylin Mini V2), highly useable with smaller juice volumes - a major plus for me
No hidden base-resident juice pool (unlike Zeus X, Dead Rabbit V3, Arbiter V2 and many other RTAs). Its base shell contains airways, no juice.
Simple bottom airflow design, no inner airflow chamber
Experience has repeatedly demonstrated that Discord newbies are achieving great success with the least number of problems with this tank. Robust support on the Discord for anyone needing assistance.
Cons
Slightly limited build lateral deck space (max recommended coil inside diameter 3.0mm) but much more winding space than the Blaze Solo)
Spare O-ring kits for this tank are either unavailable or hard to find (I cannot find any despite much searching)
Can be prone to slow leaks from air inlet holes if incorrectly wicked (a tutorial is shown on my RTA sub ohm video)
Ensure the coil legs are trimmed flush to the terminal posts, otherwise they can make contact with the inner chamber when assembled, causing electical problems.
Juice capacity with straight glass very similar to the Kylin Mini V2
Includes a full set of spare O rings, two spare M2.5 cup point grub screws for the clamp posts, plus bubble glass
Limited coil space (shown with ID 3mm coil), between elevated air inlet ports. Screws are M2.5 rather than the M3.0 of the Kylin Mini V2
Ensure sufficient cotton is fed into the juice well openings, or it'll leak out through bottom of the air adjustment ring. Not too much or it'll juice-starve in a couple of hits. Do it right and it'll be remarkably leak-resistant whilst giving great hits. Here using an 5 turns of 26x2+36 fused clapton, inner diameter 3.0mm. An extra turn would give it a bit more Wattage headroom with more punch albeit tending towards a bit less juice efficiency unless the extra punch is needed
The lower side of the airflow ring was a leaking point, but totally cured for me with a slightly modified wicking technique
Rough finish on the 510 centre pin, but simple to remedy in a jiffy
As usual with clones, some leftover manufacturing swarf in places, here the juice wells. Cleared by scraping with a small flat bladed screwdriver
Huge kidney-shaped fill ports
The base section parts. To dismantle, unscrew & remove the brass 510 screw/insulator. The build deck then unscrews from the main base section as shown
Take your pick - 5, 6, or 7 turns of 26x2+36, Ø3.0mm. More turns gives a higher Wattage headroom and a higher maximum single-toke punch. For these shown here, as a very rough guide, I suggest an absolute max of about 4.5-4.8W per turn depending on toke rate and juice mix(for Ni80 and Wattage as set on the Thelema Solo).
The Destiny stars in my video on RTAs, with a full wicking and setup demo 📺
