Download your desired 3D model (.stl) file
There are 3 versions...
2. Prepare the model in Your 3D Printing Software (Slicer)
Open slicer (e.g. Cura, PrusaSlicer, etc)
Check orientation, use the “Rotate” tool if needed
The bottom of the funnel should be flat/level with the print bed
Enable “Brim”, which helps adhesion and reduces warping - important for small prints
Set Infill to 20%, which adds internal structure without wasting filament (20% is suggested)
(Optional) If needed, resize to fit your RDA. X=Width, Y=Height, Z=Depth
Click the "Slice" button, which slices and generates the .gcode file
Save .gcode file to USB stick or send directly to 3D printer
3. Set Up the Printer
Load the file to the printer by inserting the USB into the printer or selecting the file via Wi-Fi etc
Prepare the filament
- Trim the filament tip at a 45° angle for easier feeding
- Remove any previous filament by selecting “Change Filament”
- The printer will heat up and push the old filament out
Load New Filament
- Choose the correct filament type (e.g., PLA).
- Insert the filament into the extruder until you feel it grip.
- Allow the extruder pull the filament through
4. Start Printing!
Hit “Print” and watch your funnel come to life, prints should finish in 10–15 minutes, depending on printer speed.
5. Remove the Print Safely
Allow the print bed to completely cool
If you have a flexible build plate, gently bend it to release the print
You may use a plastic spatula/scraper to carefully lift the print
Stubborn prints? A few drops of isopropyl or warm water around the edges can help loosen the grip.
Tips for Beginners
Use PLA filament for easiest results.
Always double-check your model orientation before slicing
Keep your nozzle and bed clean for best adhesion
