65:1
For the director. A composition of David. A song. [meaning of Zamar? [David thinks ‘musical composition’ (i.e., piece of music e.g., Londonderry Air) rather than ‘song’ [Danny Boy, I Cannot Tell]]
65:2
To you there is silence.
A Praise, God, in Zion
And to you a vow will be completed.
65:3
Hearing a prayer to you all flesh will come
65:4
Words of guilt they are stronger than me
Our transgressions you cover them.
65:5
Blessed [is he who] you choose and bring near
He dwells your courts
I fill with good your holy house, your palace.
65:6
The ones being feared in righteousness you answer us
God of our salvation, confidence
All the ends of the earth and distant [mp] sea [fs]
65:7
Establishing mountains in his strength
Being girded in his might.
65:8
Causing to be stilled the roar of the seas
The roar of their waves
And the sound of the peoples. [leummim]
65:9
And they will fear the dwellers of the end from your signs
Going forth of the morning and evening you ululate.
65:10
You visit the earth
And you cause it to abound greatly
You make it rich.
A canal God fills weather
You fix their grain
For thus you have established it.
65:11
Her furrows to saturate
To press down her cuttings with abundant showers
You soften her
You bless her sprout.
65:12
You crown a year your goodness
And your tracks drip fat.
65:13
Dwellings trickle wilderness
And hills rejoice.
They gird.
