125:0
A song for the ascents.
125:1
The ones trusting in Yahweh [are] like Mount Zion.
It will never be shaken. It will remain.
125:2
Mountains [are] surrounding Jerusalem,
and Yahweh [is] surrounding his people from now and forever.
125:3
For the sceptre of the wicked will not rest
on the allotment of the righteous,
so that the righteous will not stretch out their hands in evil.
125:4
Do good, Yahweh, to the good,
and to the upright in their hearts.
125:5
But the ones who bend to their [own] crookedness,
Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of criminality.
Peace [be] upon Israel.
