I lift up my eyes to you,
he who sits in the heavens.
123:2
Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a slave-girl [look] to the hand of her mistress,
in this way, our eyes [look] to Yahweh our God, until he be gracious to us.
123:3
Be gracious to us, Yahweh, be gracious to us,
for we have very much had [our] fill of contempt.

Our soul has very much had its fill
