The Word Becomes Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Some interpret the Logos to mean that Jesus is the eternal expression of God's Mind and His Plan...Jesus is the embodiment of Truth, Wisdom, and Agape LOVE, revealing God's Purpose for creation and humanity...Others believe that the Logos is the creative aspect of God...Jesus being the Word to be the Active One through which God created the universe and continues to sustain it...Others see Jesus, as the Incarnate Word of God, who brings God's Message and Purpose to people in a tangible way, offering redemption, and reconciliation...The One who becomes Savior of the World...

Logos literally translates to "word," "reason," or "thought."...Philosophers used it to describe the underlying principle of order and rationality in the universe...This Logos was seen as impersonal and Divine, the Source of all creation and knowledge...But how can it be impersonal if it is God...We know that God so LOVES the world to send His Son to save us...In Joh's Gospel, he uses the term "Logos" to refer to Jesus Christ...So it has to be Personal...St. John has Logos take on a much more Personal meaning, becoming the embodiment of God's Word and Purpose: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."...
Jesus has been with God from the beginning...God made all things through Jesus...So if anyone was made as close to God's Image as possible, it is Jesus...Jesus is our Reflection of God...And Jesus is a Man, yet He is much more than a Man...When we study Him and look at Him as a Man, He truly is the reason and purpose of life, more than any man who has ever walked the earth...He is the Complete Potential of Being a Human...We are to follow His Example, in His Words and Deeds...He lived a life on earth and now in Heaven that follow's God Word, because God's Word is Truth...He always spoke God's Word, and He always followed God's Will...
One the follows Jesus and lives his life that follows His Example which is guided by His Teachings of love, reason, and His obedience to God, certainly is living an Abundant, Full, Life...
