Acts 17:26-27
God Put Each of Us on Earth and Where We Would Live
26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
John 1:1-4
All Things are Made Through Jesus
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
John 8:58
Jesus Existed Before Abraham
58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"
John 14:6-7
Jesus Says I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Romans 1:18-32
God Revealed Himself Through Creation and All that is Around Us
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Exodus 20:1-17
The Ten Commandments
1 And God spoke all these words:
2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 "You shall have no other gods before me.
4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.
7 "You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
12 "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
13 "You shall not murder.
14 "You shall not commit adultery.
15 "You shall not steal.
16 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
Matthew 22:34-40
Two Great commandments
34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Luke 16:19-31
The Rich Man and Lazarus
19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’
25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’
27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’
29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’
30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’
31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”
Luke 18:20
God Is Good
20 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.
There are two Lights that Jesus has in Him, and that is a Creation Light, and a Moral Light...God saw what He created and said that it was good...God is good...And for God to be good, He created morality, and that is Good Morality, a Way for us to live...And there is goodness in His morality because God is Good...
When we read these verses that from Adam, God made all the nations, and that each of us should inhabit the whole earth and God has marked out our appointed times in history on earth and where each of us might live...God did this, putting us on earth and where we are going to live, so that we might seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and to find Him, because He is not far from any of us, not matter where we live and when we are and were and will be on earth...So those people who had or have never heard of God know that they are here and that creation is all around them...And they know that Something or Someone had to put creation here...So God revealed to all people whenever they were on earth and wherever they lived Himself through creation...And St. Paul said this about creation, for since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities (and His visible One's too)—and His Eternal Power and Divine Nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse...God is in such control that He has put us here in our appointed times in history and where we each of us live...
God gave us the Ten Commandments to show us about morality...Besides seeing God's creation, our God is a Moral God and He gives us morality...People wherever they lived and whenever they lived knew what goodness and morality is...
So when we read that Jesus is the Only Way to God, we have to believe that since God put some people on earth before Jesus came to earth and there are some people who have not heard of Jesus before they have passed away, God is very much aware of this (those who have not heard of Jesus)...But Jesus tells us that even before the Patriarch Abraham existed, He Himself did exist...St. John writes that Jesus has been here from the beginning, then everyone has been exposed to the Light of God from the one man whom He made all the nations...Through Jesus all things were made because without Him nothing was made that has been made...And in Him is Life and He is the Light of all mankind...So Abraham is in heaven knowing that Jesus existed before He was born, and he was on earth before God gave Moses the Ten Commandments...And Abraham never saw Jesus in his time on earth, or read about the Ten Commandments...So Abraham believed in God and he saw this Light of Goodness and morality in people and God...In Jesus is life, and that life is the Light of all mankind...And this Light is the Way to live our lives, because He is the Way, the Truth, and Life - the Way to truthfully live one's life...
So everyone has been exposed to Jesus through creation, since He has been with God in the beginning and all things have been made through Him...And since He is the Truth, the Way, and the Life, no one who has ever lived on earth comes to God, except through Jesus...Jesus is a Moral Teacher, too...And when you really know Jesus, you will know His Father as well...And when you know Jesus you know God and have seen God...Everyone has seen creation and everyone has seen the best Way to live one's life is to follow the Absolute Truth in life...Thus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life...They see the Morality of both God and Jesus...
God is in such control that not only has He has put us here in our appointed times in history and where we live, and He wants us to live morally without sin and has shown this by giving us moral laws such as the Ten Commandments...But even before the Ten Commandments, Abraham knew of God...So Abraham and others have can believe in a Moral Light and a Creation Light...And these Lights are in Jesus, since all things are made through Him, which is creation, and since He is the most Moral Man to ever walk the earth...And the Only Way to God is through Jesus...And we learn that Abraham is in heaven, when Jesus talks about Abraham in one of His Parables...
Jesus sums up the moral laws of God and the morality of God wants on earth by telling us that the Greatest Commandment is to love God and love neighbor...And this means to love all neighbors...And by saying the Greatest Commandment has tied God and man together forever...
