During the summer months, I am a firm believer in time spent away from intense school work. These brief months will be some of the last prolonged times you will be able to spend with your parents (like it or not). Additionally, just like teachers, you need a break to decompress. But most importantly, you need time to be a kid/teenager. Therefore, you will not have specific assignments to complete, chapters to read but you will have concepts to review and questions to ask.

During your summer travels, keep a question journal. A journal of questions that come to mind when observing the world around you.
You can save your question journal in any format you would like. Some suggestions:
Google Keep
Moleskin Journal
Wakelet
Apple Notes
Post-its / notecards
Padlet
When we begin school in August/September, we will share, refine and post some of the questions. It will be our goal throughout the course will be to address these questions you have created.
I will continue to add to this list throughout the summer.
