Rolling cow builds are as its name -- used in the Rolling cow game mode specifically, where the only thing you need to do is survive!
Key to building:
Try leaning into one build!
Match builds for individual characters as builds are suited for different types of kits
Generally speaking, Passive Healing and Block are preferred over Dodge and Lifesteal. This is because Dodge takes place after Blocks, meaning once an attack is blocked, you miss out on the heal from the potential dodge. As for lifesteal, the enemy's attack eventually out damages heals, rendering it ineffective the longer the fight goes.
Class: Saint / Asura / Death Knight
Weapon: Heaven's edge (Genesis) / Cursed Scepter of Nosferatu (Unique)
Shield: Deflect of Zeal (Mythical) / Moatwall (Legendary)
Armor: Jade Long (Genesis) > Random HP pieces / Divine of Aspect (Legendary)
Saint playstyle: Spam DEFEND. Use class ability for mass healing, preferably after the revive because of the mana debuff, unless the boss blocks revivals. Use character abilities only if they are beneficial to your overall survivability.
Asura playstyle: Spam DEFEND. Use class ability whenever you have sufficient mana (80💧). Character abilities are disabled so don't bother.
Death Knight playstyle: Spam DEFEND. Use class ability once every four turns when you have a little bit of difficulty surviving. Use it twice every four turns when you have a lot of difficulty surviving.
Class: Paladin > Death Knight
Weapon: Any Block weapon (except Elegy of the Glacial Heart)/ Any passive healing weapon (Check section above)
Shield: Deflector of Zeal (Mythical) > Moatwall (Legendary)
Armor: Merman > Jade Long (Genesis) > Random HP pieces / Divine of Aspect (Legendary)
Paladin playstyle: Spam DEFEND. The shield given from Merman would ideally compensate for any failed blocks, while the passive class regeneration can handle the rest.
Death Knight playstyle: Spam DEFEND. Use class ability once every four turns when you have a little bit of difficulty surviving. Use it twice every four turns when you have a lot of difficulty surviving. When the enemy hits can potentially two-shot you, use it twice every three turns.
Class: Rogue / Wardancer
Weapon: Any Dodge weapon, preferably with healing
Serendipity (Mythical), Verdant Vortex (Legendary), Serene Bow (Unique), Serenade's Axe (Mythical) etc.
Shield: Gemstone Barrier (Legendary) > Knightly Warden (Legendary) / Ethereal Ward (Unique)
Armor: Guardian of the Grove > Random HP pieces / Divine of Aspect
Rogue playstyle: Spam DEFEND. Use class ability for stat stealing once the boss threatens your survival. Use character abilities only if they are beneficial to your overall survivability.
Wardancer playstyle: The same as Rogue, except you only use the class ability once/twice every 3 turns for dodge buffing once the boss threatens your survival. It is overall inferior to rogue as it requires more actions and hence may lower the amount of turns you can get through within the time frame.
Other playstyles: The same as Rogue, but you only use its class ability if it benefits your survivability/dodge.
Class: Rogue > Any DPS class
Weapon: Any DPS weapon
Dreadknight's Demise (Mythical), Fireweaver (Mythical), Divine Retribution (Mythical) etc. You may also go for lifesteal weapons, but you might lack DPS because of the lower stats.
Shield: Barricade of Eternal Justice (Legendary) > Any DPS shield
Armor: Any DPS armor set (e.g. Glorious Nightfall (Mythical)/ Hellfire Blaze (Mythical)/ Scarlet Siege (Legendary)
Rogue playstyle: DEFEND 10x, then focus on ATTACK. Use class ability for stat stealing once the boss threatens your survival. Use character abilities only if they are beneficial to your overall survivability/DMG.
Note that some bosses may not have a lot of dodge to be stolen, meaning the class ability is less effective.
Other playstyles: The same as Rogue, but you only use the class ability if it debuffs the enemy (E.g. Death Knight) / buffs your DMG (e.g. Warlord) / Deals a substansial amount of DMG without DoT (E.g. Sniper).
