Future prospect - Death Knight: Debuffing enemy while having tanky stats. May lack DPS
Future prospect - Paladin: Great passive healing and block chance. More lacking in DPS than Death Knight
Future prospect: Reliable DMG amplification and passive burst hit and healing. Overall good for flooring
Future prospect: Great burst-damage with active, esp. when paired with self-hit items / multi-hit enemies / curses, while having passive counter chance and post-counter heal. Overall good for counter centric builds
More suited towards mid-late game:
Future prospect: Dealing a high DMG strike while having continous critical buffs and good crit base stats. Great for long-fights (e.g. Raids). May lack survivability until end game

Best: Imperial Vanguard (If your class has a lot of Block Rate) / Ravager (DMG redirection, healing and damage) / Dragonborn (Burst heal + damage boost)/ Vindicator (Burst heals + burst hp-scaling nuke) / Reef's Bane (💧)
Alternative (Generic) : The Order
Levelling items require their rarity's respective ore after certain levels. The ore for legendary rarity and above is difficult to get from current floors. Forcibly attempting to use underlevelled weapons will be overall worse than using levelled lower rarity items -- Unique tier is a good middle ground.
Physical and magical are two distinct playstyles in the bot. Early on, magical items are seemingly better, with sources of healing while having decent DMG. However for mid-end game, classes and items cater towards physical builds. Ofcourse, future updates might bring magical to equal grounds with physical. But as of now if you're thinking for the future, go for physical, unless your selected character specifically works with magical builds.
Masterclass (Yellow class) should always be the focus since it's the final transformation you'll obtain. You may take a look at the list of suggestions above under "Class" and see whether your character could benefit from the description.
