ZEREF

Zeref is a decently self-sustaining magical DPS with multiple ways to inflict decent magical DMG to the enemy. However due to the innate nicheness of magical items and classes, his usage rate is rather low.

In raids, he is excellent thanks to the renewed DMG formula. The ally barely takes DMG from his party ability while he offers immense DMG and consistent healing, making him a great generalist pick.

Passive

Regenerate 5% of missing HP every turn

When the enemy has 33% or more HP remaining:

Deals 15-25% MD every turn passively

Active

Every use of his active grants him 1 🔒

🔒 : Reduces DMG taken by 4% (Caps at 5 stacks)

When he has less than 4 🔒: Dark Blaze

Deals 130% MD
Deals 20% MD for 2 turns

When he has 4 or more 🔒: Dark Blast Inferno

Deals 160% MD
Deal 20% MD for 3 turns
Disallows him from using his active for 4 turns

Party

Every turn:

Deals 20% MD to allies
Deals 40% MD to enemies

If Natsu Dragneel is in party:

Natsu will be immune to the passive DMG
Natsu will have +40% ATK & MD
Zeref takes 40% MD every turn

DUNGEON : BUILD + PLAYSTYLE

Universal build:

If you are below Floor 121, please use the Early Game Build, focusing on magical (MD) classes, weapons and armor.

Else:
Zeref is compatible with the Magical DPS / Critical / Health (Asura only) playstyle.

Rotation: ATTACK + Use ability every time you have 50 💧

ROLLING COW : BUILD + PLAYSTYLE

Zeref is compatible with all Rolling Cow Builds.

May use his ability (50 💧, 5 times) for full DMG mitigation buff. The cost is quite high so adapt to your skill rotations, you need not force it!

RAID : BUILD + PLAYSTYLE

Zeref is fantastic as a support character

His DMG to allies is low thanks to the new DMG formula
His magical DMG to the enemy is consistent
He offers a high missing HP% heal
