Did you know that he has a SS ability variant already? He has definitely improved a lot in terms of power, guess he's really "solo levelling"~
He essentially supplements the lack of heals that critical builds naturally have. (Drains after critting), Not to mention the drain scaling off his max HP, making him reliable and effective. With the right gear, he is rather easy to use!
Yet, he really wants the 120 mana to empower his effects. His passive power growth also scales with the more materials you own. So if you are a new player, you might need to hold off a bit before using him.
In raids, he can be a great solo DPS without supporting characters, thanks to his max HP scaling drain with his active and boosted stats in his party ability.

Passive
Every 10 sets owned of the following materials grant stat buffs:
King's Crown =✧= ATK +1% (Up to 30%)
Monster Egg =✧= MR +0.75% (Up to 22.5%)
Dragon Scales =✧= DEF +0.75% (Up to 22.5%)
Pendant of Silence =✧= Crit Rate +0.5% (Up to 15%)
Devil Claws =✧= Crit DMG +1% (Up to 30%)
Odious Brain: =✧= Dodge +0.5% (Up to 10%)
10 sets owned means owning 10 of that material type. E.g. you need 300 King's Crown in your inventory for the max 30% ATK buff.
Active
Buffs himself permanently:
Successful attacks each cause 6% damage for 2 rounds.
Critical hits drain 3.5% of the enemy's max HP (or 7% of own max HP if the enemy has more than twice of yours).
Dodging an attack steals 12% of the enemy's current mana.
Party
Refuses to fight (Dies) when in a party with characters that have a party ability
When in a party where he is the sole ability, he has +50% max HP, ATK & MD, DEF & MR
Early Game
If you are below Floor 121, please use the Early Game Build, focusing on physical (ATK) classes, weapons and armor.
Wardancer DPS
Prerequisite: >= 120 mana
Class: Wardancer
Weapon: Lambent Light (Mythical Sword) / Any dodge item you have
Shield: The castlemaiden (for mana) / Any crit DMG shield
Rotation: DEFEND (Until you have 120 💧) -> Use Ability -> ATTACK x3 -> Use class active (25 💧each, use until you can't) -> ATTACK x3 ... (repeat the attack and class ability cycle)
Merits:
Extremely high critical rate thanks to the class active bonus to benefit from SJW's max HP drain
Extremely high dodge rate also thanks to the class active bonus to benefit from SJW's enemy mana drain
Consistent ATK buffs from wardancer class ability
Overall high survivability and DMG in dungeons, unless against Gravity Manipulation
Rogue DPS
Class: Rogue
Aim: Rely on his innate stat buffs and spam attack to win
Rotation: Spam ATTACK. Prioritize class ability every 4 turns (40💧). Excess mana will eventually store up, allowing you to use his ability (120💧).
Cleave (Only if DoT is allowed, Most effective in high difficulties)
SJW EX does decent with the Critical - Reaper playstyle.
This build's efficiency would rely on the ATK and dodge from the build. It's either hit or miss, good luck~
Critical DPS
Sung Jin Woo EX is compatible with the Critical playstyle
Prerequisite: >= 120 mana (Else just rely on passive buffs)
Rotation:
ATTACK/DEFEND (At most 10 times) + Use Ability when you have 120 mana -> ATTACK/Use class active (Only for sniper)
Sung Jin Woo EX simply refuses to fight, just quickly finish up your runs 😔
Sung Jin Woo EX acts as a great solo DPS
He offers a high max HP boost with his party ability, alongside other stat buffs
Further paired with his active's drain upon critting passive, he has great DPS and survivability
