Synopsis: Two teens go away to a party at the weekend without telling their parents. Will everything be all right?
âI still think we shouldnât do this, Mike.â
âOh, come on, Sophie! Live a little! Mum and Dad will never find out!â
  âFine.â
They got in the car and left.Â
Sophia and her brother, Mike, had finally been invited to a party, but their parents would never allow them to go to it as there was no chaperone. While Mike was more mischievous and didnât mind not telling his parents things, Sophia was obedient and told her parents everything. This is why she felt uneasy going to the party. Her heart was pounding and she had a bad feeling.
Mike kept teasing her about it and refused to turn the car back around. âIf we donât go to this party, we wonât be invited to othersâ, he explained.
He turned up his 60âs music and sang along as his sister looked back, confident they were followed.
âMum and Dad are in Spain, Soph. Calm down.â
âSomeoneâs following up.â the girl insisted.
The boy rolled his eyes and kept driving.
Sophiaâs anxiety grew higher and Mike couldnât take it anymore, so he hit the brakes and yelled: âCan you stop being such a baby?! Itâs just us on the road!â
But just then the trees grew higher and the car shook.
âWhatâs happening?â Mike asked helplessly.
Gigantic silhouettes were approaching them from the forest surrounding them.
âFloor it!â Sophia yelled.
So he did. The monsters seemed to get closer and closer, and the boy was driving dangerously fast.Â
One of them was just about to grab the car when Mike managed to drive even faster. But it was in vain as another managed to do what the other couldnât. It grabbed the car and dragged it into the depths of the woods.Â
But did Mike and Sophia manage to jump out of the car or did they stay in it and go wherever the silhouettes were hiding?
The kids jumped from the moving car and found themselves in the middle of the woods. They were both injured, but at least they were alive.Â
For some time, they didn't say anything. They were just thankful they were alive.Â
Mike's phone was still in the car, so there was no way he could call anyone. He thought about that as his sister exclaimed: "No signal! How are we going to find our way back home?"
To which the boy replied while getting his dark hair out of his face: "We walk straight forward and we should reach the road. We were 20 minutes away by car from home, so if we walk fast, we should be back by daylight."
The girl groaned as she got up, "Let's run, I don't want to spend another second in this forest."
Every little sound scared the kids. They walked in silence, not wanting to attract those silhouettes back. After what felt like days, they finally reached the road.Â
They walked in the same loud silence until a car pulled over, the driver was Sam, Mike's best friend, who asked why they didn't come to the party and if he could give them a ride.
The kids were relieved and started telling the boy all about their adventure. Sam listened uncomfortably and, as much as he wished the siblings were lying, he knew it must be true as they were bruised and walked home in the middle of the night.Â
After arriving home, the teens found themselves in a great problem - what will they tell their parents happened to the car.
The kids held their hands as the silhouettes entered a weird looking cave.Â
The silhouettes were much smaller in here. If outside they looked, 10 meters tall, now their height was about 2 meters.Â
The monsters were starting a fire as the boy went into reverse and fled the cave. The silhouettes ran after them, but it was in vain as the sun rose above the dark forest, making them disappear.Â
The two teens sighed and decided to go to the party anyway, it didn't matter that it was probably ending, they deserved a little fun, didn't they?
