I smile and chit-chat with everyone. I act completely over it and calculate my every move. I was scared they would see right through me but I suppose I'm a better actor that I give myself credit. The day feels endless, but, at last, we get to leave the set, for today, at least.
Mother insists on going to eat at some restaurant but I ask them to let me go home, and let them enjoy their dinner. They hesitated, but let me. I still didn't have my phone or any other device, but what I need is in their office.
I ask Fred, our security guy, to unlock the door for me, claiming that I want to see the cover art inspo for my upcoming album, and although he hesitated, he caved.Â
Okay, I am here.Â
I search through their computer - seemingly nothing. I search the drawers. Then look myself up.Â
This can't be possible, they hadn't said anything to the tabloids. So, then, why did Olivia call it off? This doesn't make sense.
Maybe she actually was just trouble. And as I walk out crestfallen, a notification pops up on my mother's computer.
I run to see what it is.Â
"I don't care that I didn't have to do anything - you bothered me, I want my money anyway."
What? The notification disappeared. I guess she must've answered it, so I risk it all and open the messages app on her computer.
She first talked to this person on Thursday. The day they came to Romania...
'We overheard her telling Adam that her parents are going to Paris for their wedding anniversary. Find out when that is, everything about her schedule, everything about her in general. And be prepared to take a bomb on that plane if she doesn't give up.'
I think I'm going to be sick.Â
This person then replied with her parents' wedding anniversary date, the plane they'll be on, hers and her siblings' birthdays, her address, her University schedule, every single one of her activities, hobbies, every single one of her friends' names.Â
'So, should she cave if we tell her we'll blow up the plane her parents will be on?'
'Yes, but threaten her that we'll also set fire to the building her and her sister live in. Tell her there's someone waiting in front of her brother's school, ready to start an attack.'
'Well, is there someone?'
'Not now, but I can get them there in 3 hours.'
'Okay.'
I want to throw up. I knew they weren't the warmest people, but I had never thought they were sociopaths?
I screenshot the evidence, send it to Harry, text him "FIND ME A LAWYER ASAP. I NEED TO GET THEM IN JAIL!!!!!! AND I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO MY PHONE OR ANY DEVICE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -ADAM"Â
Delete the chat, delete the "recently deleted" conversation so there is no proof, and run to my room and play my guitar.Â
And just in time because they had just gotten home when I picked it up.
They walk in and I feel disgust, but I keep myself collected, Harry is going to figure it out, he always does.Â
I just want to hug Olivia, that must've been so scary.
And so, I try to fall asleep, but I can't close my eyes. I can't believe I'm sleeping in the same house as two sociopaths.
