Synopsis: Peculiar things happen in the dead of night...
It was time. The clock struck 12 and she'd fought it for too long. She missed him terribly. Everything she'd done reminded her of him. The thought of letting him go drove her crazy.
"Mad as I may be, I have to see him again." she thought as she got dressed and drove carelessly through the dim lit suburbs.
She was alone on the road. She put on one of his favourite songs by some rock band. Listening to the songs he loved made her feel closer to him, for when everything tries to keep you apart, you must find something to keep you close.
She saw it, his house. Parked her car 2 blocks down and walked until she was under his window. Throwing pebbles at it.
As she was taking aim to throw the third pebble, he opened the window and looked down, smiling.
He saw her and ran outside.
As he was approaching her, the doubt kept on creeping in her mind, "What if after all these weeks of not even texting he forgot me? What if he's only coming down to tell me that it's over."
But all those questions were all silenced when he pressed his lips against hers and the world stopped spinning.
In the dead of night.
