The piece is a fountain sculpture from 1981, featuring musical fauns. Sculptor Fritz Røed made the piece. One can see a matching piece at the Flower Square in Bryne, the artist’s home turf.

We put the sculpture in a new place in the northern part of the Town Square, facing Ravnkloa. We put benches right up to it, and the fountain and benches now provide activity in a pleasant part of the Town Square, which was previously an area of automotive traffic.
