For this assignment we were instructed to take a picture that shows unique lightning. There was multiple pictures I could've took and made them look unique. I had one idea to use my sisters LED lights in her room and take a picture of her with them so that I could include a portrait in my picture to go along with my inquiry question but after I took the photo I didn't think it looked unique enough and I knew I could try and take a better photo.
After I chose/took this picture it was very bright. I decided that if I made it more dark it would make the lights stand out more and be more unique. So, I put the photo in my photo app and edited it. I made the contrast, saturation, blackpoint..etc to make most of the photo really dark. Another thing with making the photo more dark is it blocks out most of the objects in the back which I felt wasn't important in this photo and that the lights should be the main focus which I did by editing it. After all the edits I decided that I wouldn't need to put it in photoshop because there wasn't much I could change. I was going to erase the red light at the top in the photo but when I tried it was to noticeable so I decided to just keep it.
If I could change anything about this photo I don't think I would. I really like how the picture came out and how much the darkness in the photo makes it look better. I wish I could've went somewhere to take a better photo but with all this going on I had to be creative which is one thing that is making this more "interesting". I love taking regular photos and being able to travel or go somewhere to take photos but being more creative with them makes it even more fun and interesting. So overall, I like how this photo came out and the edits.
