Journalism- Future

For this assignment we were told to take a photo that showed "future" during this pandemic. At first I had no idea what to do because we don't know what's going to happen and I also tried to connect it to my future but don't know what's going to happen with that either. With that being said, as I was laying on the trampoline with my sisters I got the idea to take a photo of the trees and sky above me to show future. The reason I thought this would be a good example is because we don't know what's going to happen and have to wait each day to see what the future holds (day relating to the sky) and then I just thought the trees and tiny flowers and leaves added a good vibe to the photo.

To edit this photo, I didn't do much. There wasn't anything I needed to touch up or get rid of so I just put it into photoshop to add a filter to it. After playing around with all the filters I decided to put the "Ink Outlines" filter on it. With putting that filter on it made the branches of the trees much darker and the sky very bright which goes together very good. After that there wasn't much I could change because the trees and the sky were the whole purpose of the photo.

Lastly, I do think this was a good and creative idea. I like the way I thought of future and didn't do something related to my future or predict anything about corona, I did something that shows we have to wait each day and see what happens and the day will come that will call "future".
