The Licensing Applications page allows users to view all applications in chronological order of when they were created, regardless of application status.
The Applications page will always sort by Application ID in descending order. The most recent application created will always be at the top.
We highly suggest cleaning up any old draft applications you have that were never submitted, or were created in error. While the Department deletes these when we are aware of them, it is easier if the facility/agency deletes unnecessary draft applications on their own.
Rules have been implemented around when users are allowed to create new applications. If you have a draft application of any type, you will not be able to create a new application of that type. You must either use the existing draft, or cancel that draft to be able to create a new application.
Applications pull current data from the Facility Information at the time the application is created. For this reason, submitting an application you may have created a year or two ago is a bad idea. It is best to cancel that application and create a new application.
There are two options for users to search within the Workbench:
Enter the search criteria in the white box that says "Enter your search term". Select the blue search button or hit "enter" to execute the search. Results will remain sorted by Workbench category.
User may search individual or multiple columns for certain criteria.
If the user attempts to create a new request, but finds no options in the dropdown, it means that for whatever type of application they are trying to create, an application already exists in a state that is preventing them from creating a second application. The application creation rules are as follows:
Initial License - Facility/Agency must be in "pending" status. Disable this option if the facility/agency meets this criteria but already has an Initial Application in DRAFT, SUBMITTED, ACCEPTED, or COMPLETED status. The ability to create an Initial application will remain available if all other Initial applications are in CLOSED or CANCELLED status.
Renewal Application - Facility/Agency must be in "active" status. This option is only available within 120 days of license expiration date. Disable this option if the facility/agency meets this criteria but already has a Renewal application in DRAFT, SUBMITTED, or ACCEPTED status. The ability to create a Renewal application will remain available if all other Renewal applications are in CLOSED or CANCELLED status, and they are within the 120 expiration period.
Request to Change Information (LOI) -This dropdown selection creates an Update Application. Facility/Agency must be in "active" status. Disable this option if the facility/agency meets this criteria but already has an Update application in DRAFT status. The ability to create an Update application will remain available if all other Update Applications are in SUBMITTED, ACCEPTED, COMPLETED, CLOSED or CANCELLED status.
Change of Ownership Request - Only available for External users with CHOW rights. There no longer a separate Workbench or Applications list for CHOW users, everything is in one area, with visibility determined by assigned roles. Facility/Agency must be in "active" status. Disable this option if the facility/agency meets this criteria but already has a CHOW Application in CHOW REQUEST, DRAFT, SUBMITTED, or ACCEPTED status. The ability to create a CHOW application will remain available all other CHOW applications are in COMPLETED, CLOSED, or CANCELLED status.
