Initial Report

Step by step



Select Report New Occurrence to begin a new initial report. The initial report will appear in a new window.




Select Edit to enter information into the fields

Save as Draft

Initial report information can be saved prior to completing the initial report. Save as Draft will save all information that has been entered, but will not submit the initial report to the department.

Save & Submit

When the initial report information is complete, Save & Submit will submit the initial report to the department and generate an occurrence ID.

Validation Errors

Information that does not meet a field's parameters will trigger a validation error. A message will appear at the top of the page, as well as below the appropriate field. Information is not saved when a validation error occurs.

The occurrence workbench will display occurrences in progress. Occurrences may appear in more than one section of the workbench.
