Note: results the results have not yet been published, but I can anticipate that there are three hotspots to aim to, in order to maximize the single-shot score.

Depending on your abiliy, the optimal hotspots are (in personal ability raising order)

• Aim at the center: perhaps you hit the board;
• Aim at triple 14; although you are not so good, you could hit 11 or 9 sections;
• Aim at triple 20; for specialists.

Follows an animation with displayed the expected score for a range of throw precisions

If you bet beers, scientific knowledge can make the difference!

Note: If you win and drink the beers immediately, the ability can decrease because of alchool, so your optimal aim point can chance during the evening.
