Notable fact:

In AG, values 82 and 83 are wrongly indicated as motorway numbers.

Notable fact:

In principle the values are inherited from the first section from Bargen, but they were assigned when the N4 was still planned to go through the city center of Zürich, and therefore along the actual A4 the values are about 7 km too low.

5 Flüela bypass

No kilometer values known on this section.

A5 Yverdon - Solothurn

Increasing from 0 at Échangeur Yverdon (A1) to 60 at Twann.

Notable facts:

There are no signs in Neuchatel. Values are interpolated.

The missing part between La Neuveville and Ligerz has cantonal kilometer values consistent with the future A5.

2 Biel - Solothurn

Notable facts:

One of two cases where the same values (0 to 28.5) exist twice in the same canton (Bern).

Notable fact:

One of two cases where the same values exist twice in the same canton (Vaud): 0.6 to 17 are on the first two sections.

In addition, the same values also exist near Brig in Valais.

A12 Vevey - Bern

The Roveredo bypass is longer than the original road and hence km values do not add up.

2 Bellinzona - Ascona

Increasing from 7 at Locarno Airport to 19 in Ascona

Notable fact:

The planned missing link between Locarno Airport and the A2 at Bellinzona is 1 to 2 km longer than 7 km, so the values apparently do not take this into account. Not starting at 0 does avoid having the same values on both section of the A13 within canton Ticino, as the other section ends at the border with Graubünden at 3.7.

A14 Rotsee - Rütihof

Increasing from -0.3 at Verzweigung Rotsee to 15.1 at Verzweigung Rütihof

Notable fact:

Has the only known signposted negative values.

A16 Boncourt - Biel

Increasing from 0 at border with France to 82.7 at Verzweigung Bözingenfeld (A5) and from 83.7 in the decreasing direction.

Notable facts:

The distance between km 70 and km 71 is 2 km!

The carriageways are far apart between La Heutte and Biel, and the northbound carriageway is about a km longer, therefore the section near Bözingenfeld has values differing by more than 1000 m in the two directions.

A18 Zwingen - Basel

Increasing from 24 at Nenzlingen to 39 at Birsfelden. Gap between Grellingen and Aesch.

Notable facts:

The road does not have exit numbering, and the kilometer values increase to the north starting from 0 in Delémont.

The planned section between Uster and Hinwil is much shorter than the gap of 23 km in the kilometerage.

A1a Perly - Bellevue

Notable facts:

The northern part inherits values from the A1, while the southern part does not.

Normally km 0 is positioned where centrelines of the motorways meet, but here km 0 is at the point where the ramps from the A1 join, leading to negative values (which are not signed).

Exit numbering is from south to north, presumably for consistency with the A1.
