General description:
Tertiary roads: only known numbers 100 - 108 and 110. Numbers occur only in the north of the country and increase to the south.
Quatenary roads: only known numbers 300, 301 and 302, all near Chitipa.
Minor roads: only known numbers B4, B5 and B13.
Road signs: Green signs with white text and orange numbers on main roads, white signs with black text on minor roads.
History: The road numbering system seems to have changed, probably in the 1990's. Apart from Main roads, some of the classes listed above are probably superseded. Main road numbers have also been changed.
