This is my Mom's recipe for Apple Crisp... on the same index card as her Apple Crunch and "A Bit More" recipes.
INGREDIENTS
6 or 7 large apples
1 c light brown sugar
3/4 c flour
3/4 c Quaker Oats, old fashioned
1 - 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c (1 stick) butter
Preheat oven to 350o.
Pare and slice the apples into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Mix the sugar, flour, oatmeal, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Cut in the butter.
Press the mixture over the apples.
Bake 1 hour.
