After the group destroyed Falvaen, the Godbreaker, they sought out a reward from the Norse temples in Aertael. Here is the response.
Paraswarm visited the Frey temple, and they were quite happy with the group! Calimir is there, and he brings out Eliudner to discuss rewards with the group. He says that they might wish to see what each of the Norse temples in the city is willing to offer, as they would all be happy to thank the group that defeated such a dangerous foe.
Heimdall - Gadrofa, who may or may not be the high priest of the temple, offers your choice of either a ring of True Seeing, or a gem which can be implanted into a weapon that will grant it Giant Slaying, doubling the damage dealt from the weapon and the weapon's plus against any giant class.
Tyr - Gylfi, probably the high priest, offers your choice of either the ability to summon a Valkyrie once a month for one hour (will have the same number of hit dice as the summoner has levels, attack as specialized fighter with dual longswords, demigod level stats, if slain cannot be summoned for three months, but will not attack any Lawful/Good, Lawful/Neutral, or Neutral/Good creature), or a gem which implanted in a weapon will grant it Chaos Slaying, doubling weapon damage and the weapon's plus against any creature of Chaotic alignment.
Odin -Wendol, high priest of the temple, offers as your choice either the ability to Shapechange like the spell for one turn once per week, or be affected by Berserker, which doubles hit points and rate of melee attacks for up to three rounds (user cannot attack with spells or ranged weapons during the duration).
Frey - Eliudner, high priest of the temple, offers as your choice either the ability to cast Sunshine once per week, which will illuminate an area of 100' radius in full daylight for one turn, which does 1d6 damage per level of the user to undead, demons, daemons, devils and the like, or the ability to Control Weather once per day as the spell.
Freya -Folkyngi, high priestess of the temple, offers as your choice either the ability to cast one Fire spell of up to sixth level (caster may choose to copy the effects of any elemental spell they are familiar with, such as Burning Hands, Cold Missile, Lightning Bolt, Wall of Fire, Cone of Cold, and so on) up to six total levels per week [so you could cast six first level spells, a first and a fifth, and so on] once per week, or the ability to Shapechange into a falcon once per day for up to a turn, giving 60" flight, MC:A.
Idun -Alsiage, high priestess of Idun, offers as your choice one Apple of Idun, which you (and only you) can eat to make yourself ten years (proportional) younger (this will remove unnatural aging if any has been inflicted, but will not count towards the 'longevity potion' percentage), if you have no unnatural aging, it will actually make you younger than your birth age.
Sif - Uskyl, high priestess of the temple, offers as your choice either an enhancement to any of your weapons to add +1 to it (maximum +5, but not limited by metal type), or granting the ability to be immune to mental control of any type for one turn, once per week.
Thor - Raedwald, high priest of the temple, offers as your reward the ability to cast a Thunder Bolt once per week (deals 1d6 per level of caster, 3 segment casting time, deals lightning damage with no save plus thunder Stuns all within 2" radius if save at -2 is failed.
Magni - Trym, high priest of the temple, offers as your reward your choice of 10,000 gold, or a Permanent Storm Giant Strength potion.
Frigga - Skapti, high priestess of the temple, offers as your reward the ability to Charm any creature which is attacking you, at will, 1/week at -2 on the save, or the ability to change into a silver dragon for up to one turn, once per week, with the hit points of the character, the size of a Medium Old dragon.
Surtur - there is no known Surtur temple in Aertael.
Hel - probably a poor choice of gods to ask for a reward in this case.
Loki - While this temple might likely offer some sort of reward, it would most likely be a bad idea.
Thrym - no known temple, and unlikely to reward the group in any case.
Those who have taken a reward:
Barathorn
Delhawk
Hazor
Kibbles
Paraswarm
