Deities known or suspected deceased

Yeenoghu - Sometimes in the early 1160s, this deity was apparently slain, probably by Loki.

During the Judgement War, a large number of deities - in many cases, entire pantheons - were reputedly slain by Eru or his allies. In addition, there are many beings of various levels of divine power who are either known only in legends, or who perhaps were slain in the distant past.

These beings were seen to apparently die on the battlefield.

Magni - it was said that this being died, but he was later found, in a weakened state, in the possession of Kandrelion, rescued, and turned over to the Thor temple in Aertael. As of early 1165, he is recovering from several years of torturous abuse. It is not known how long it will take him to heal.

Humanoid gods - the deities of the orcs, gnolls, and so on, mostly died during the Judgement War, either before on during the last battle.

All other deities not listed as living on the main Deities page are suspected to have been killed in the early phases of the Judgment War. These would include most or all of the American Indian, Babylonian, Central American, Chinese, Finnish, Indian, Japanese, and Sumerian deities.

Some other beings of reputedly deity level power possibly are only legendary, were slain and no word was heard, or they are in hiding.
