Giving Back to Society - Krushna Hotel
I dedicate this page of my site to acknowledge and encourage gesture of Mr Sunil Patil (my SPI mate) by opening Krushna Hotel, where every dish cost only Rs. 10/- to it's customer, in today's world. It is really difficult to believe that this hotel actually exists, but it is. Sunil Patil says that he wish to give back the society by doing such work. I appreciate the efforts he is taking by running such a useful venture, even if resulting into financial loss at every order he takes.
One of our friends, Colonel Amit Dalvi, wrote after personally visiting Krushna Hotel :

As a salaried person, Mr Sunil Patil has his task cut out. He works for the LIC. He is a family man with a daughter and son. He comes from SPI, Services Preparatory Institute, Aurangabad!
He has started up an eating joint where everything costs just Rs 10/- Not a profit making enterprise but actually a LOSS making venture!!
Say a full dish of Dal Fry for Rs 10/- (sufficient for two) when dal is costing Rs 120 per kg. That too unlimited quantity!
Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
But Mr Sunil Patil wants this to be part of his share of Giving back to the Society. He is footing the bill for the loss. The beneficiaries are students and patients from near by hospital, and their relatives.
When I spoke with one of the students Ashok Chavan from Beed he said though he has a mess at hostel he prefers this affordable joint.
If you are traveling on from Ahmednagar to Manmad, on the highway, you would come across this place just about half a kilometer ahead of Vikhe Patil Engineering College,on the left hand side. It is short of Pune bypass.
The man is with MISSION!
His day starts at 3.30 am with run followed by Yoga. Then by 6.00 am he at his Start Up! Being an avid cook himself, he oversees the preparations for the day and leaves for his office within an hour or two.
He can be found at the same place after office hours again. His wife Mrs Patil, a house wife looks after KRUSHNA in his absence, with help of Shafik and two others.
