How To Get Your Facebook Birthdays Into Google Calendar on Android Phone

I was working on this as I am little forgetful when it comes to remembering my friend’s birthdays. I also like having all important dates/events in one and the same place. You will also love this little trick, it's quick and very useful. After using this trick, you will have all of your friend's birthdays right in your google calendar in your Android phone, and will be properly synced in future.
Facebook has lots of information on our friends, including their birthdays, and it’s surprisingly easy for you now get that information on somewhere useful app like your google calendar.
If you have apple branded phone, this article is not for you. Apple has i-cal app which automatically syncs birthdays from facebook and show it in calendar by default. However, most of the people use android phones which has google calendar installed. If they also have facebook installed on their phones, facebook gives notification by default. However, if facebook is not installed, then it is possible that one may miss the notification and can forget wishing birthday to his dearest friend.
This article will brief you in simple manner how you can import friend’s birthdays into your google calendar and keep it synced with facebook account, in future. It means you have to do this process only once and afterwards it will be synced automatically.
Let’s start. Open you facebook account and google calendar in a new tab in your browser. Log in into both the accounts with your username and password.
Now in facebook - click on home – and then on ‘events’ (left up). Now go to right down so you can see this. (see fig below)
Now, right click on ‘birthdays’ and click ‘copy link location’.
Now go to another tab where google calendar is. To import birthdays, you’ll need to look on the left at your calendar list and find the section for ‘Other Calendars’. (see fig below)
Click on the drop-down arrow and choose “Add By URL“. Now, just paste the link you have copied into this dialogue box. All the birthdays will be added and it will show up in the list as “Friends Birthdays“. Now you can open google calendar in your mobile and see that all the friend’s birthdays are automatically added to your calendar. If not, go to settings – calendars to display and select ‘Friend’s birthdays’. And it is done now.
