Answer to radio problems - Massachusetts

Just thinking out loud

Massachusetts has at least 1 countywide police channel and 1

countywide fire channel for each county in Massachusetts. (except for

Worcester County which has 2 regional fire channels and 0 regional

police channels). The fire nets all have 1 control point - some have

backup control points. The police nets dont seem to have any real

control points. 2 or 3 of the county fire nets have a paging system. I

dont think that any of the police nets have a paging system.

Easy answer - make sure that each net has a control point, and a

backup control point. Make sure that each control point (primary and

backup) has a paging system.
