BAMA

BAMA Network - Boston Ambulance Mutual Aid (or something like that)

453.10 R - Boston CMED is the Control Point

Maybe there are 1 or 2 tests daily - 12/23/2014 test was at 815 AM approx - there might be 4 PM ish tests also daily

"Boston" tests with the following private ambulance companys - Action - (?American - possibly not included in 12/23/2014 test) - AMR - Armstrong - Brewster - Cataldo - Eascare - Fallon - Lifeline - McCall - Professional

Historically the channel has been used by Boston EMS to scrounge up private ambulance when BEMS is flooded with calls.

The system went into operation in maybe 2006 - here is a post to sme2 on 12/18/2006 - '453.10R in use P25 and analog - mutual aid ambulance units at school

incident in Brookline - they are giving destinations for patients - 1124AM - "Cataldo this is Boston" - I think the Boston dispatcher is the only party that is using P25' - here is a 4/15/2006 post concerning the Boston Marathon - 'BEMS testing on 453.10R'
