The aluminum Massport Fireboat, "American United," is ready for launching at the Canadian shipyard, A.F. Theriault and Son Ltd, where it is being built. The name "American United" is to honor the memory of 911. The Massachusetts Port Authority (massport) should take possession of the fireboat within a one week, after seatrials, where it is destined to serve Logan Airport.
