Rock River: Kalin and Radley
This mix delves a lot into mysterious imagery and some of my more supernatural concepts with the two. I also included many songs by favorite artists I've loved for years. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMqVKPkJHK6JnValbEZeDvCjaEwY8HswL
Across the Universe by Evanescence
Kalin's confused and twisted thoughts upon arriving in Crash Town. He sees good things around him, but doesn't feel like he can participate, nor ever will.
You're Only Human (Second Wind) by Billy Joel
Radley tries to cheer Kalin up. Suggested by Crystal Rose of Pollux.
Nemo by Nightwish
Kalin's response. He is lost in the darkness, yet he wishes it could be different. I've always loved this song, and I realized recently it fits Kalin.
Whisper by Evanescence
Radley has been taken to the mines and left there. Tortured by the guards and abandoned by everyone, he loses hope.
Dead Boy's Poem by Nightwish
Radley's sorrowful thoughts as he dies alone in the mines. He reflects on his life, his failures, and on how he still cares for Kalin, although he doesn't know why.
Gethsemane by Nightwish
Kalin finds Radley dead and fully realizes the extent of the pain he has caused with his crusade to atone for his past sins. It is almost unbearable.
Words I Couldn't Say by Rascal Flatts
Kalin grieves over how he treated Radley, especially realizing Radley cared about him and Kalin for him.
Far by Michelle Tumes
Out of his body and finally understanding why Kalin treated him so horribly, Radley forgives him and wants to come back. It isn't so easy, but he keeps fighting.
Once Upon a Dream by Mikko Juan
Both Radley and Kalin have the strangest feeling that they've met before. They've each had many dreams about the other. Now that they have another chance, they're focusing on this curiousness more. I specifically chose this cover because the singer sounds very similar to how I picture Radley's singing voice.
Deja Vu by Dionne Warwick
As Kalin and Radley grow close after Crash Town's hectic events, Radley becomes more and more sure that he knows Kalin from somewhere before. Suggested by Azalea542.
Rock River by Rockapella/Elliott Kerman
Kalin is having another depressive spell. Radley is his rock river that gets him through it.
Understanding by Evanescence
Kalin has grown so close to Radley by now. Radley has helped him fight his demons, and in turn, Kalin has done the same for him.
Bring Me To Life by Evanescence
Kalin continues to realize how important Radley has become to him.
Stay Together from Pokemon
Radley and Kalin hope to come through their problems with their friendship and love.
The Extra Mile by Laura Pausini
Radley expresses how much he's come to care about Kalin.
My Last Breath by Evanescence
Kalin and Radley have been through so many adventures. Now it looks like this one is the last.
Your Star by Evanescence
Kalin struggles to deal with Radley's death and cannot.
The Other Side by Evanescence
Kalin longs to die to be with Radley again.
If Only Tears Could Bring You Back by Midnight Sons
Kalin continues to mourn.
Healing Incantation by Emery
After Radley is fatally stabbed, Kalin wonders if it could be an enchanted death and struggles to revive him. This version sounds like Radley singing. I couldn't find a male cover that sounded like Kalin.
Flying Without Wings by Westlife
Kalin and Radley celebrate being together.
Together Forever from Pokemon
Another celebration of happiness. It's funny that now I have two different songs by this title on my fanmixes.
