Dues and donations
Lambda Chi Alpha at Arkansas State University Inc. serves a dual purpose:
1. It manages the fraternity house on the ASU campus and works with the active chapter and national organization in a variety of ways, all designed to maintain an outstanding chapter.
2. It functions as the alumni association, managing activities for alumni and coordinating contacts between actives and alumni.
During recent years the organization's Board of Directors has been reconstituted and has been active in reviving chapter and house finances. Toward that end, we have separated funds from the active chapter, and we main three House Corp. accounts — one for house operations and routine maintenance only; the second a Reserve Fund, which is limited to capital expenses and major maintenance; and the third a Founders Fund, which was established in connection with the 50th anniversary Founders Day celebration and is used primarily for alumni activities.
Alumni dues are $50 a year, and our fiscal year runs from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. During the High Five for Lambda Chi capital campaign, alumni dues are waived for donors of at least $100 a year over the five years.
