Welcome to Hymmetry! This website is a work in progress, expected to contain a collection of lyrics from various sources - some displayed with music on this website and others linked. They span 3 decades and respond to various topics and occasions and, primarily, to Bible passages. I have long been struck by various encouragements in the Bible to sing a new song, and this has emboldened me to have a go at the words and leave it to others to supply music - which they have skilfully done. I have often benefited from the encouragement and wisdom of speakers, teachers and friends as well as editors - to all of whom I am extremely grateful.
