Meet Bill & Joan Goldstein

Joan and Bill Goldstein are the Chair(s) of the I/N (Intermediate and Newcomer) Events for Unit 141.Joan and Bill have been married fifty years and started playing duplicate bridge as a team two years ago.  Joan is a retired software executive from IMS Health, a leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Bill is a retired attorney whose practice centered on civil litigation.

The Goldsteins (pronounced to rhyme with “fine wines”) have lived in the Philadelphia area all of their lives. They are both graduates from the University of Pennsylvania.  Their three children live in Portland, Maine, Washington, DC and Las Vegas, Nevada.  None play bridge, although their son in Las Vegas is a professional poker player.

The Goldsteins look forward to meeting many new bridge players at the I/N Events and to providing an environment in which everyone has a good time and even gets to improve their bridge.
