I want to convey a sincere thank you to all the wonderful Pro players who participated in Monday’s Pro Am game. I realize many of you changed existing commitments to play as you could have played in the higher paying Charity Pairs event scheduled at the same time. Instead, you chose to promote the general well being of bridge.
The Ams in general were delighted and inspired by your participation. I heard numerous stories of people telling about their Pro partner and the wonderful experience they had. We all should be proud to have 29.5 tables with a Who’s Who list of experienced players.
Thanks for making a difference and setting the bar for active ethics. You are an asset to the game and an example for our newer players.
