During the Hilton Head Regional, the ACBL will continue its experiment with taking credit cards as payment when purchasing an entry for an event. The ACBL has successfully sold entries via credit card at other tournaments. Players can walk right up to the Tournament Director selling entries to their event and use a credit card or cash to purchase their entry. Players no longer need to purchase District 7 Vouchers but instead can simply use their credit card at the time of event to purchase their entry. District 7 will continue to sell Vouchers and they will continue be accepted as cash at all District 7 tournaments, however, players can now use their credit card at event time, saving the time of having to wait to purchase their initial Vouchers.
