We are very excited that you have chosen to spend some time playing bridge with us in Northeast Pennsylvania, known as the "Valley with a Heart".
Our team as prepared a schedule that includes events for players from the beginner to the seasoned pro. We also have a slate of accomplished speakers willing to share their knowledge and expertise, whether you are a newcomer or advancing player.
On Wednesday and Friday, those who pay and play in both sessions of the Gold Rush pairs will be treated to a free lunch and talk between sessions.
Partnership Chair, Bill Orth, will be on hand one-half hour prior to each session to help you find a partner or teammate. Ellen Preece as Hospitality Chair will bring out an array of goodies frequently.
We are lucky to have Candy Kuschner as our ACBL Director-in-Charge, ably assisted by Marc Labovitz and Bob Cole. The staff here at the Woodlands is warm and friendly, and the facility has everything a guest could request.
Please introduce yourself to me when our paths cross, and let me know how we're doing. We only get to do this every two years, so we want to make sure this tournament is memorable and enjoyable.
