Welcome

Hello and Bienvenue Bridge Friends

Welcome to the 52nd edition of the CanAt Regional bridge tournament. 52 years ago this tournament originated for our area to east of Montreal. Sometime In the past, it moved to the Atlantic Provinces where it now annually alternates between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

This is the second time for Moncton to host this tournament . Our Unit 230 has cooperated in an experiment of moving this event from the tried and true city of Fredericton. As such, we will be looking for feedback on all facets and you will be receiving an electronic survey at the end of the week via our paperless bulletin. I have no doubt you will find whatever level of competition you are looking for with visiting world class players .

We are proud to be partnering with Harvest House , a local community outreach program , that will benefit from all proceeds of the 50/50 draws.

Local volunteers have come together to make your experience as pleasurable as possible. Local eateries, all within walking distance, will welcome you and may even supply discounts so take your convention card and ask. Be sure to pick up a pamphlet at the registration desk for full info on which eateries and vendors are participating in offering discounts.

We have for gone the traditional hospitality suite . I know bridge players will always find a corner in one of our local bars to post mort , catch up with friends , adding the other side of enjoyment our beautiful game affords.

We encourage you to consider our signature Lobster Cruise immediately after the game on June 30th,

I look forward to meeting you at the table .
